From the moment I met with Nicole and Adam for brunch at their Temecula wedding venue, I was secretly hoping they would hire me for their wedding day. They were both so fun to be around, and Nicole has such an excellent eye for organization that I knew we would get along just great! Then I found out they had hired my best friend Michaela with Compass Design Events as their Wedding Planner and I was completely sold. Now, yes, they still hadn’t technically hired me, but my mind was already made up on my end!
On Adam and Nicole’s wedding day, there was supposed to be a massive storm coming in. As a bride, this is the fastest way to make you feel sick to your stomach, but Michealea and I assured her she had a fantastic team of vendors by her side to still have the wedding she dreamed of. This is the MIDDLE of May! Storms like this don’t usually take over our turn during this part of wedding season, but we were prepared for anything mother nature brought our way. Some tents were brought in to prepare for the storm, BUT we never needed them! The storm decided to head elsewhere, and we couldn’t watch it leave fast enough. The tents were actually a perfect addition to the chilly evening and kept the guest nice and toasty.

I think it’s time to chat a little bit about our lovely couple! Adam and Nicole meet at a 66ers baseball game. They had a mutual friend, they were introduced at the game and asked Adam to put her and a friend in a suite. They started the conversation, and the rest was history.

How Did He Propose?

My mom and I had traveled up to Canada on Anaheim Ducks hockey trip. Little did I know that part way through my trip, Adam flew up to Toronto to meet us and surprise me! I was walking through a park right next to CN Tower with my godfather and mother when Adam stood up from a bench. I was in shock that he was in even in Canada and had flown up to be with me. Right after he saw me, he got down on one knee, and I said YES! As Adam likes to say, I got the best ring on that Super Bowl Sunday!
