I am so excited to share today’s post! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that my baby sister, Aimee, is a bride now! The long-awaited day has finally come and I’m so excited to share all the photos with you… but first, a little backstory about these two little lovebirds.
They are an actual, real-life Bumble success story, believe it or not. After their first date, they knew they had something special and were both happy to stop the brutal task of trying to date in Los Angeles. They’ve been engaged for a year and a half and it’s been so fun and in insightful for me to also see more of the planning side. I can relate to all my future couples in an entirely new way now.
So many of the details were carefully thought out, and I was so happy to capture them. The lilies in the bouquets are in honor of our Grandma Becky, the brooch on her bouquet belongs to her mother-in-law, and the watercolor florals (and the beautiful Save the Date!) were painted by our sister, Jenn. My parents even surprised them with a special gift at the end of the night. Aimee had written a note on an ad for crosstich piece in a magazine that said “to my future husband” my mom saved it all these years and gave it to them. It was truly something special. Enjoy the beautiful photos of the day that was so special to me!
