Many of our couples don’t typically live in Temecula Wine Country. I usually get asked where a good place is to go after spending a full afternoon going over wedding details at their venue. It makes a great excuse to go out for a date night and have some great wine, food, and music.
I have a few of my favorite places that we like to frequent especially when family comes to town! Taking your family or bridal party to a few of these places, for a good lunch date should be in order while you’re in town!
Very popular nightspot among many locals and visitors. Why? Because they’re open the latest! 10:00pm to be exact during the summer months. It’s VERY hard to find parking after 3:00 pm most days, but they do have valet for only $6. Seating can also be challenging the later it gets, but I would say the atmosphere is totally worth it.
The food is always so good and consistent. It absolutely amazes me that they produce the quality and amount of food out of the small kitchen they have, but they clearly have a great system in place. The staff is also what makes us come back time and time again. Every single person that works there has always been so kind and attentive.
You can rent Cabanas! If you have a big party joining you and need guaranteed seating, they have cabana rentals complete with a staff member to serve you what you need. I’ve hosted a birthday party here and have not been disappointed!
Dog-friendly!? Yes, you can bring your fur baby! We bring our Goldendoodle with us all the time!
Sunset on the lawn is my favorite! The sunset light coming through the cypress trees overlooking the Temecula Valley and sipping their Pinot Grigio is my idea of relaxation. Enough said.
Opening up at 4:00pm daily, The Cellar is a lounge located in the Ponte Vineyard Inn Hotel. If you are looking for a dark romantic atmosphere with good live chill music, this is your place! The food menu is a little pricey, but if you get there during happy hour before 6:00pm, it’s such a good deal for what you get.
*TIP!* If you have a membership here, you can bring your bottles down with you with a no-corkage fee. They also give you a complimentary 1-year membership if you get married here! For lunch with the bridal party or family, check out the outdoor restaurant over at the winery.
The Apparition Room is located inside the Deviliocous Eatery, a unique food truck turned restaurant in Old Town, Temecula. Most people have no idea this place exists and that’s the way they like it! Behind a large door inside is a true speakeasy with skilled mixologist that are super passionate about their skills. Want your average drink? NOPE, don’t bother ordering that in here! Tell them what you like to drink and they will custom make a cocktail just for you. I’ve never had something I didn’t like in here. If you go with a few other people, it’s great to pass each other’s drinks around and give them all a try!
Keep in mind you can’t just walk up and expect to get in. In true speakeasy fashion, you have to have a reservation. Good news for you, I just happen to have the secret number you can text to get in if you want to check it out! (951) 514-6332.
This is a popular late-night party spot that’s open till 2:00am. 1909 is great for food, drinks, people watching and everything in between. You could go here any time of day and have a pretty great time. Service is great and it’s awesome for large groups. Many of our couples have admitted that they come here after all the wineries have closed looking to keep the party going! Don’t worry, I won’t judge if you do this too.
Public House– Next door to 1909 with super yummy craft beer.
Espadin- A new spin on classic Mexican food with a really cool atmosphere.
There you have it! Whatever you decide to do, I hope you check out one or more of these places when you are in town! I just might see you there!
