Guess what today is?! Today is Allison and Luke’s ACTUAL wedding day. But this day looks a little bit different than what you would normally see. Like so many other couples around the nation, they have had to postpone their wedding day until later this fall. They still wanted to celebrate their special day even though COVID-19 has taken over the wedding industry.

What a great way to celebrate this beautiful day complete with a romantic, couple’s lifestyle photoshoot. Luke rented a beautiful bright and spacious property overlooking the beach in Solano, California- perfect for their first night as husband and wife!

With social distancing in mind, we were able to have a fun afternoon together celebrating their love followed by a very intimate ceremony complete with a bouquet toss! Respecting our local laws of not being able to go down to the beach, we stayed on the beautiful balcony for a few quick romantic portraits at sunset.

I feel like I really got to know these two on such an intimate level before their NEW big wedding day in October. These are the types of connections that will make lasting friendships and an easygoing wedding. We will look back and say “Remember when we did that shoot with our masks on!?” It will all feel like such a dream and a distant memory.
