Amanda and Brenton decided on the beautiful Paradise Point in San Diego for their engagement session. We spent the sunny, yet mildly chilly afternoon photographing on the beach and inside the resort. This was a perfect place for them to not only enjoy their session but the resort as well! They had decided to make a weekend trip out of it and stay at the resort for the remainder of the weekend.

HOW DID HE PROPOSE?

“The day he proposed was seriously something out of a fairytale! We had plans to go to dinner at The Melting Pot and the Uber then pulls up at a helicopter pad in San Diego and I’m completely in shock. He said he wanted to surprise me before dinner. The pilot knew all about it, and Brenton proposed about halfway through over the water while we were in the helicopter! We then celebrated at dinner and there were roses and champagne at the table.”

For the last few beach images of our day we timed it just perfectly for when the sun went down. By this time we had seen a beautiful beach sunset and a we almost couldn’t feel our fingers as it was starting to get really cold out! Amanda and Brenton enjoyed the rest of their night with a romantic dinner at Paradise Point’s CATCH restaurant. This day also happened to be the anniversary of when they met.
