On Mike & Jackie’s wedding day, there was one question that was looming over everyone; would the rain hold off until after the ceremony? Keep reading to find out!

No one can deny the amount of love Mike and Jackie have for their friends and family. There was also no question about how much their friends and family love them, which  was made crystal clear by where their guests were from. Every single guest traveled from out of state to be at their wedding.  Mike and Jackie are from Chicago, so there was a big group that flew in from Illinois, but we also heard about other guests traveling from Utah and Arizona. This wasn’t a small wedding, so you can only imagine the commitment their circle of friends have for the both of them.

We first met Mike and Jackie back in December 2016. They had vacationed to the Temecula Valley Wine Country previously and fell in love with Ponte Winery. Jackie dreamed about having her wedding there and they were fortunate enough to make that dream a reality.

I remember that first meeting we had with them. The vines were dormant and the trees had already dropped their leaves for the winter, so the property wasn’t looking its best. We assured them that by the time their wedding day was here, the property would be in full bloom, and it was.

Their ceremony was held outside of the Ponte Vineyard Inn, directly in front of the beautiful pond. It was a spectacular sight. The weather was warm (this is Southern California after all), but the skies were slightly overcast which made the light absolutely perfect! A few days prior, temperatures in the Temecula Valley tipped the mercury at 115 degrees, so a low-90’s overcast day was definitely welcomed.
PS. The rain did, in fact, hold off until later that evening.
