Raquel was greeted by family and friends as she gracefully walked down the stairs of her parents family home. There must have been 50 people waiting to see her beauty and all the hard work she put into choosing every little detail of her wedding. There we lot’s of family hugs, pictures, and laughter as we were leaving to meet the groom over at at the venue.
The Groom and groomsmen were waiting for us when we arrived. I happened to greet Alex at the reception entrance carrying boxes with the biggest bottles of Vodka I think I have ever seen in it! Needless to say, we skipped the handshake and let them get to where they needed to be! The couple had a beautiful toast by Alex’s mom with someone very in special in mind later on in the evening. Hence the amount of Vodka that needed to be carried in when we greeted them.
The family decided to incorporate both families traditions for their wedding. Polish traditions alongside a cultural mix of Lebanese dancers for their grand entrance. It makes for such an inviting atmosphere when you combine two heritages on your wedding day. Everyone seems to be so comfortable and each family gets to really feel and know the other side, especially at the dinner tables!
I have to say, I fell in love with Raquel’s mom. She was so gracious and so sweet the entire day. Her mood, tone, and demeanor was so calming and refreshing. The day was beautiful and filled with so much love from both sides of the family.
Enjoy taking a peek into their beautiful day!
Raquel had SO many pretty things for me to photograph! The headpieces was so beautiful!
These are so VERY proud parents! Seeing their baby girl for the first time together! PRICELESS!
Very unique to Raquel is her love for books! I love how show incorporated them into her wedding details.
I LOVE when brides do the full spin!
The emotion on Raquel’s brother’s face is such a heartfelt moment. It really shows the amount of love this family has for one another.
