In true wine lovers fashion, we met up with Rachel and Steven at Ponte Winery for their engagement session. (You can see that lovely session here) As I talked to Rachel in the days leading up to the wedding, she told me that Steven surprised her with a pretty big upgrade to her diamond since we saw them last at their engagement session. We made sure to take lots of amazing images of that pretty gem.
Steven proposed to Rachel at Wilson Creek Winery in the barrel room during a trip to Temecula. Since they are both wine lovers, it was a perfect and romantic time to propose to the woman he loves. We first met Rachel and Steven at an event last year at Lakehouse Resort in San Marcos. They told us their lovely and unique story about how between the two of them, they have six kids. It was very important to them that they were just as much a part of the day as they were. They skipped the traditional bridal party and opted for the girls to be with them. The blush and soft white tones of their wedding were perfect and complimented them so well. The weather forecast predicted a full day of rain the day of the wedding, but the forecast changed to partly cloudy for the entire day just for us! We may have had slightly wet feet from the rain the night before, but we all felt so lucky we were able to use the entire property without a drop in sight.
Seriously, isn’t he a doll?!
