If you are on the lookout for a European inspired wedding venue in Southern California then you have found it. This dreamy Victorian mansion looks like it is out of a fairytale. European architecture has always been so inspiring to me so when I found out about Kimberly Crest House and Gardens a few years ago I fell in love! I send my couples a detailed list of locations and this one ranks high on my favorites’ list. When Lauren and Mike asked to have their engagement session here I was thrilled and instantly inspired.

Tip- If you are interested in booking a session at Kimberly Crest, you must have a day of permit to photograph on the grounds. The venue’s choices for times are not always ideal, but having a skilled photographer that is comfortable in harsh lighting is key. Using that type of light can be tricky but done well they will turn out beautiful! I also think that your outfit choice plays a big role in choosing this location. It’s not jeans and tee-shirt kind of feel so dressing up is always a better option. Have your florist make you a bouquet for your session and it will also elevate the look of your images.
