Green Gables Estate Wedding San Marcos

Kelly and Ethan chose the picture perfect Green Gables Estate as their wedding venue, a romantic garden estate with historic buildings, beautiful grounds, and romantic charm. Our lovely couple was just a joy to be around.  Kelly has the sweetest most relaxed disposition with an adorable shyness. One thing is for sure when Ethan comes into the room she literally lights up! We love that they opted for a first look because as you can tell, they have SO much more couple portraits than if they hadn’t chosen to do one. Ethan, on the other hand, is far from shy but he is just like Kelly in the sense that when she is around they just connect so well. I can tell you after spending 8 hours with these two families they are well connected and have so much respect for one another. Ethan’s mom Lisa, was so helpful the entire day. John spent most of the day with the guys but had mentioned that Kelly’s father was equally helpful on his end. I almost forgot to mention Kelly asked to do a Daddy-daughter first look. This is something new we have implemented this year. We have the bride wait outside and have just her father see her FIRST. This is such a beautiful moment for him to see his sweet baby girl all grown up and about to marry the love of her life. It is a bittersweet turning point that’s a must-capture moment. Then, if they decide to do the first look, he escorts her down the path and lets her go as she greets her groom for the first time. I can’t tell you how magical it is! I literally had chills the entire time. They danced into the night and even snuck off with us for a few night images under the arbor. We are so very grateful they chose us to document their love on their wedding day.
