Brandon proposed to Alanna on the way up to Mount San Jacinto Peak at Wellman Divide. She remembers the view was overlooking Idyllwild and the world. It was meant-to-be for these two and it was the perfect way for this couple to commit to one another after several years of dating.
Brandon is closing in on eight years in the Marine Corps and Alanna describes his personality as passionate. In fact, she said one of the qualities she admires most about him is his passion for all things in life and that he proves that by being passionate about everything he does. “Everything he does, he does with all his heart and drive”, she said. As for Alanna, Brandon loves everything about her. He said they “just fit each other” and he loves that they can just be childish with each other.
Brandon is tall and trim, he stood up straight and looked like the epitome of a perfect Marine in his dress uniform. Alanna looked like a princess in her beautiful flowing gown with gorgeous floral details and jewel embellishments.
A genuinely touching moment happened during the toast when Brandon stood up and asked his father to stand and be recognized. Brandon mentioned that his father Ed, is one of his biggest inspirations and it was Ed that taught him the value of hard work. He went on to credit his father for all the things he’s done that made Brandon into the man he is today.
We wish we could’ve had more time to spend getting to know you both. We admire both of you for finding that one true perfect partner that “just fits”.
