This was a hot one, in more ways than one. To begin with, the temperatures outside had the mercury climbing to a face-melting 105 degrees. Secondly, the passion between Berenice and Johnathan exceeded whatever the thermometer was reading by a factor of 10!
The wedding was intimate with approximately 50 guests, which is great in so many ways. The couple had the opportunity to meet with each guest to acknowledge and thank them for coming. Intimate weddings like this allow each guest to feel special and like they’re a real part of the day. The grounds at Forever & Always Farm were in full bloom and everything was prepared beautifully by the staff. The property looked spectacular!
One of Bernice’s requests was to have pictures taken with the friendly resident Alpaca in the field across the street from the farm. Johnathan and Berenice were absolute troopers. We trekked all the way through the field with the Alpaca to get the sunset pictures she requested. On the way back, Johnathan even encountered a Tarantula crossing the road. That brings up an interesting question… Why did the Tarantula cross the road? Silly joke, I know.
Johnathan looked dapper in a royal blue suit with a solid pink necktie, patterned pocket square and brown lace-up cap toe brogues. John bonded with him right away and helped him with his pocket square, steaming his son’s suit and pinning the boutonniere. The running joke John and Johnathan had all day was John kept telling him he looked like a boss banker. Johnathan always laughed when John called him a banker during photos.
What can I say about Berenice; She… Looked… Beautiful! She wore a stunningly gorgeous A-line dress and always had a smile on her face. Berenice’s hair was done beautifully in a partial up-do with her flowing side-swept golden curls held by an impressive crystal embellished clip.
As we always do, we give hugs at the end of the night. Johnathan and Bernice were so generous, giving and thankful that they made us feel like a special part of their day. We wish them all the best in their future together.
