Our Home studio is a place that is mostly used for boudoir sessions taking place. I felt the need for a shift. Not because I don’t like those type of sessions, but because I wanted a session that represented so many couples daily lives and activities, which isn’t fancy or frilly. My sister Aimee and her longtime boyfriend Earle were literally the PERFECT couple to represent that!
In Aimee’s own words, “We’re really just homebodies anyway.”
Earle and Aimee bought a house a few short months ago. Oh, and should I mention it was their very first, AND they did this in their 20’s in Los Angeles?! I don’t know about you, but that is something I would be really proud of! Their children, I mean fur babies, Bonnie and Duke, are just what completes this sweet little household. You can usually find Earle relaxing in bed doing some crossword puzzles while Aimee reads her acting books. All while the kids play a constant, non-stop game of slobbery fetch. I am sure if you ask them, this is their idea of a pretty good time.
Ok, I know my very own parents are going to read this BUT, amongst the book reading, puzzles and dog toy throwing, there HAS to be a little playful fun involved! Lot’s of cuddling and kisses are just a given, right? I do have to say these two are madly in love and everything you see here is 100% genuine and natural. Earle has this look he gives Aimee that most women could only dream that their hubby or boyfriend would give them, and Aimee just lights up when they’re together. I have never seen my sister happier, more content, and natural as I did the day I photographed them.
Enjoy!
