Advice from leading wedding industry professionals on beating the summer heat on your wedding day.
Do you feel that heat yet? Wow. I sure do! It went from a high of 56 last week to a whopping 97 just five days later here in Temecula! While John and I were laying out in the backyard yesterday enjoying our afternoon, I was thinking about all of our upcoming summer weddings. It dawned on me that many of you who are getting married this season might still be looking for some ideas to beat the summer heat. One of our lovely brides is coming into Temecula and getting married at Ponte estates and Vinyard Inn all the way from Chicago! My guess is that so many of you coming in from out of state might not be fully prepared for this crazy California heat! Even if you are a Temecula or Southwest native it still can be a bit of a shock being in the hot sun all day- ESPECIALLY in a wedding gown!
So without further ado, this is my official announcement in this months “Wedding Wednesday”. During this Summer Series in the month of June, I will be highlighting other industry wedding professionals and getting some advice and their expertise on tips on ways we can keep your wedding day from turning into a (literal) hot mess! Keep an eye out on the blog on Wednesday, June 7th for my top tips on beating the heat on your wedding day! Our first Vendor will be Carla Kayes Floral Designs . Carla will be giving us advice on ways to keep your flowers safe and fresh during the hot summer heat. She will also be giving lots of great summer floral suggestions as well! I can’t wait!
Have a great rest of your week!
xoxo – Carrie
