We first met Julie and Brett at Julie’s sister Elizabeth’s wedding last year. Little did we know, one year later we would have the opportunity to capture their wedding day and this super unique engagement session at Belching Beaver Brewery in Vista California! When we were planning, I had asked them what the special connection was with this location, and we soon found out that they had actually met there! Not only that, they shared their very first kiss here as well! (Aww!) Once they told us their story, this was definitely the PERFECT place to do an engagement session. After our shoot, we all shared some UHHHMAZZING BBQ. A local food truck called Carolina Mike’s cooked us up some North Carolina dry rub ribs and chicken along with his grandma’s famous mac and cheese. I totally didn’t mind that it was 11 am and we were enjoying a craft IPA and some comfort food! I think we might have found a great friendship out of all of this!  Brett and Julie took us out for a round of bowling at a super cool place in San Marcos afterward and we chatted all about her upcoming day and how excited we both were that it is finally here!
