A few weeks ago I had a lovely chat withDiana from Celebrations by Diana. She and her team are a seriously talented group of ladies! Diana is truly a gift and really listens to her bride’s ideas and requests for their wedding day. After working with Diana and recently hearing that she and I were on the preferred vendor list at a Fazeli Cellars and Winery in Temecula California, I knew That I wanted to write a blog series on the importance of hiring a planner. Not everyone actually knows how important it really is and how it will ultimately help us all on your big day! I encourage you to go check out Diana and her teamand check back soon for the rest of our 3 part series on the blog. Up next is 3 of the most important questions to ask your wedding planner.
1. Bye-Bye Stress!
The best thing about having a wedding planner is that you get to make all of the fun decisions, without the hassle of trying to actually make your vision come alive. Let your planner handle the stress of the decision making process. When you look back on your wedding day, do you want to remember the tear-streaked blow out you and your maid-of-honor had over improper linen placement? Or do you want to remember the happy tears, full of excited anticipation? It’ll allow not only you, but the people who are celebrating with you, to genuinely enjoy their day.
2. Money Savers
I know what many of you are thinking… doesn’t hiring a wedding planner just add to the long list of expenses for a wedding? But believe me, in the long run, a wedding planner can save you tons of money! They know all the tips and tricks of the trade on how to great deals, and how to prioritize the laundry list of things you need, all while staying within your budget. With a planner who knows their stuff, BIG savings are on the horizon!
3. Style is Key
The hardest thing for any bride while trying to plan her own wedding is making her Pinterest worthy dreams, a reality. A wedding planner can sit down, pin-point your own personal style, and make your vision come alive on your big day. It’s vitally important to have someone there for you throughout this journey and to ensure that everything goes as planned.
4. The Best Deals and Finds!
Let’s be real, your average bride doesn’t know where to get the most gorgeous flowers in town, or the best deal on a wedding cake! Wedding planners work with vendors every day and have built real relationships with them that will help get you the best deal possible! They provide opportunities for unique additions and savings to your wedding that you would have never been able to find on your own!
Whether you decide to go entirely DIY, or hire a planner, the most important thing is that you have a strong support group throughout this emotionally charged time. It’s vitally important to have someone there for you throughout this journey and to ensure that everything goes as planned, which will allow you to truly enjoy the festivities of the day.
