Should we both get ready at the Westgate?

FAQ

There is a beautiful bridal suite at the Westage Hotel for getting ready photos. The lighting is perfect with many windows to let the natural light come in. The groom and groomsmen do not have a dedicated room but usually get ready in one of the vent spaces. Once they are dressed we utilize other areas of the property for their photos.

A FEW OF OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT SHOOTING WEDDINGS AT THE WESTGATE HOTEL

Where do you recommend taking our family portraits?

Family Portraits can be taken at the alter after ceremony or on the rooftop. There are many clean, bright locations to choose from. If your ceremony is indoors, I would still recommend going outside for natural light images.

Where will the ceremony location be?

The Westgage Hotel has several options for your ceremony location. From One of the ballrooms to the rooftop, there is something for everyone.

We have guest coming in from out of town, where should they stay?

With 223 luxuriously appointed guest rooms all boasting balcony views of downtown and San Diego bay, the Westgate becomes the ideal gathering place for guests. If more options for guests are needed adjacent to the property is the Us Grant Hotel 

What is included in the venues fee?

Bridal Suite, Chairs, China, Clean Up
Flatware, Glassware, Linens, Set Up Tables. With a guest minimum of 80 and a maximum of 150.

Can we have our rehearsal dinner at the Westgate?

There are options for any size party, the Westgate Hotel can accommodate any size. From a table at the Westgate Room restaurant, to a private dining space.
