My Dad turned 73 this year. Wow! Where did the time go? I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, and he replied: “I just want to be with my grandson“. While that was was a good enough answer I still wanted to a bit more with him. So I asked his best buddy ( my son Cash) what he wanted to do with his grandpa. He said well, we always eat doughnuts so I want a doughnut party! That’s all it took for me to start dreaming up the perfect little party for these two. I planned for weeks getting dozens of doughnuts in all colors and sprinkles. Next came the outfits we picked the soft pastel colors of the doughnuts and got some new fancy bow ties. No doughnut party was complete without coffee for grandpa and strawberry milk for the little one. Our setup even came with official invites to this wonderful event. The connection between these two will forever be with us. He has lived with us since his birth and the memories we continue to make are priceless.
