Brian and Wendy just crushed any and all superstitions about Friday the 13th by having a beautiful wedding ceremony at Forever and Always Farm yesterday. It was an intimate ceremony environment and they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. Brian and Wendy both have relaxed and humorous personalities which made for amusing moments when their friends in the audience ‘cat-called’ and whistled when Brian and his best man, Jason walked down the aisle together.
Brian and Jason have known each other for about 20 years and you could tell they have a lot of respect for each other. Wendy and Mary (maid of honor) have been friends for about 15 years and they were a lot of fun to photograph together in the bridal suite. Mary was very helpful with gathering details to be photographed, assisting with the dress and shoes and helping Wendy throughout the day.
Wendy’s gown was a gorgeous, champagne princess-style dress designed by Saints-Carle Bridal Suite that flowed beautifully and looked absolutely amazing on her. It looked even more amazing during the sunset photos we took in the field adjacent to the farm’s property. Brian and Wendy were a joy to photograph because they couldn’t stop touching each other and whispering in each other’s ear.
The dinner by candlelight was one of the most romantic settings I’ve seen in quite a while and everyone was having such a great time eating, drinking and socializing in the beautiful dining space. At the end of the night, it was hard for us to say goodbye. Thank you both for choosing us to document your day. It was a pleasure. Congratulations and we wish you all the best!
